Franz Fischer starts building mowers in Termeno, South Tyrol.

Fischer was born in 1956 in Termeno — a quiet village on the South Tyrolean wine road. What began as a small workshop building tools for local farmers has become a brand trusted by growers, foresters and municipalities across more than forty countries.
Two generations later, every machine is still designed, welded and tested under one roof. We believe machines should have character: rugged where it counts, refined where it shows, and reliable when at work.
