A short guide to keeping your Fischer mower in perfect condition season after season.

Check the oil level of the drive elements regularly. If needed, top up with 80W90 hydraulic oil up to the sight glass.

Where fitted, the self-supply tank should be checked regularly and topped up as required.

Verify the expiry date of the hydraulic hoses and inspect them for leaks before every season.

Regularly check the tightness and condition of all bolts. Replace any worn fasteners immediately.

Clean the mower after every job to remove soil and residues. A pressure washer is ideal for the lower section. On painted surfaces, use the minimum pressure and keep the nozzle at least 1 m away.
Maintenance, servicing and operating the mower are everyday tasks. It is precisely in these routine moments that the greatest care must be taken.

Make sure that the tractor's load and lifting capacity, as well as its stability with a connected piece of work equipment, are adequate. Any adjustment of the equipment on the tractor must only be carried out with the tractor safely stopped, engine off and key removed.

Remember, you are not only responsible for your own safety, but also for every person and object that may be in your working area or on transit roads.

Accidents during the coupling of the implement to the tractor — caused by the universal joint or PTO shaft — are not uncommon. Carry out this procedure with care and the utmost caution.

Have your machine serviced regularly by your trusted dealer to avoid operational failures.

During operation you must carefully inspect your surroundings. Objects thrown out from the agricultural soil can injure people or animals and damage property.

Rain, fog or darkness severely impair visibility. For these reasons, avoid working the field in bad weather and before sunrise or after sunset.

Never work when tired or under the influence of drugs or medication.
Our certified partners are ready to keep your Fischer mower in top shape — wherever you work.
