Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy explains who we are, what personal data we collect when you visit fischer-factory.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and which rights you have. It is written to be read: if anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Fischer Factory Group, based in Termeno, South Tyrol, Italy, is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. You can reach us by e-mail at info@fischer-factory.com or by phone at +39 0471 860211.
If you ask for a quote, spare parts or service through one of our dealers, that dealer handles your request on their own behalf and becomes an independent data controller for the data you send them.
2. What data we collect
Navigation data: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you open and the date and time of your visit. This data is collected automatically when the pages load and is needed to show you the site and keep it stable and secure.
Data you give us on your own initiative: your name, e-mail address, telephone number, company, and the details of your request or of your Fischer machine, when you use the contact form, register a machine with Fischer Friends, or sign in to the dealer portal.
Preferences: the language you choose is saved in your browser so that the site opens in the same language when you come back.
3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis
To show you the website and its features: necessary for the service you request when you open the site (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To answer your questions, quotes and requests for service, spare parts or a demonstration: pre-contractual measures and our legitimate interest in replying to you (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To manage machine registrations and warranty extensions you ask for, and to inform you about recalls or technical updates for your machine: legitimate interest and, where required, your consent (Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To comply with legal obligations such as accounting, tax and product-safety rules (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not build profiles of you, we do not use automated decision-making, and we never sell your personal data.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses only the technologies needed to remember your language, to keep you signed in where you have an account, and to display the dealer map and the web fonts. No advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
The full list, with durations and how to disable them, is in our Cookie Policy.
5. Who we share your data with
Our hosting and cloud provider, which stores the database and the files that run the site; the parts and service platform used for Fischer Friends machine registrations; and our dealers and service partners when your request concerns them.
We may also disclose data to professional advisers, insurers or public authorities where the law requires it. Service providers outside our group act as data processors under written agreements and may only use data for the task we give them.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some services this site loads are supplied by companies that may process data outside the EU or EEA, for example web fonts, the map tiles on the dealers page and, if you click them, our WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
Where such a transfer happens, we rely on a European Commission adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses, which oblige the provider to protect your data at a European level.
7. How long we keep your data
Navigation and security logs are kept for the shortest time needed to run and protect the site, normally no more than a few months.
Contact, quote and spare-parts requests are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange with you, so we can follow up if you write to us again.
Machine registrations and warranty records are kept for the duration of the warranty and then for the legal retention period for commercial and tax documents.
Your language preference stays in your browser until you clear your browser data.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format. Where processing rests on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting what was done before.
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@fischer-factory.com. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority; in Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
9. How we protect your data
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, access to systems and to the database is limited to people who need it for their work, and the providers we use are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.
We never publish personal data on the site, and we ask you not to send us sensitive information (such as health data) through the contact form.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site, our services or the law change. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of the page, and important changes are announced on the site.
